I was lucky enough to catch Bill a couple of years ago at Yoshi's in Oakland, even got to meet him, very nice guy and of course, otherworldy drummer.

I saw him some years ago with Earthworks (Django Bates, Ian Bellamy etc.) and found him a most charming fella. Yes, I was autograph hunting ! He was also busy in London last year, and I had tickets to go see him but gave them away to a friend as the date clashed with an important appointment I had earlier that day in another part of the country.
I've heard tales about him being an obnoxious, objectionable s.o.b., but can honestly say that, in my humble opinion, these tales are groundless. Maybe he doesn't suffer folls gladly; then again, should one suffer fools at all ?
