Hey,
Recently caught Adrian in concert with his new "power trio"... remarkable. Staggering, what can I say. It was a small venue and I got the priviledge of talking to him. Such a nice guy.. my wife joyously got a shirt signed by him and the siblings. They played a bunch of Crimson stuff as well as plenty of older solo Adrian songs in addition to some of the new stuff. Julie and Eric are stunning young musicians. Julie was playing stuff from Tony, and Les Claypool... don't tell me that doesn't take guts. Adrian was all over the place playing lead, switching into the "bass" part so Julie could take lead. All of them were clearly enjoying themselves. Adrian is always such a joy. It reminded me of when I saw him with the Bears... same kind of energy (maybe more, if possible). No Fender Mustangs.. but still neck bending (with a MUCH more expensive guitar). Now I have Adrian, Robert and Tony's signatures. I've seen Bruford but no luck getting his signature yet :)
